  1. Hi Caroline. well done on organising what sounds like another great bloggers outing…and yes, there’s definitely a pork theme going on here! Unfortunately, I’m down in Cork with work all next week, so will miss out. Best of luck with it anyhow and I look forward to hearing all about it on the blogs. sharon x

Count me in, this sounds great! I think strong espresso is responsible for lots of good ideas.

  3. Looking forward to meeting you all! I’ll make sure there is some cake!I can give precise directions to everyone with regard to which direction they are coming from.Margaret

  4. Caroline says:

@Sharon where in Cork are you? Might be in the city towards the end of the week if you’d like to meet up for coffee?@Kristin counted!@Margaret maybe we should have a bring-a-cake theme to the day?!

  5. Alfie says:

Definately not a bring a cake day…….Im not allowed temptation.

  6. Brilliant Caroline for organizing this!! So glad it has come to fruition. Sadly, I will be in the USA next week, but when I am back I will be at the ready!! Have fun =) Imen x

  8. Hey Caroline….I’ll be out in Shanagarry / Ballymaloe. I’m expecting long days so not sure I’ll have time to let my hair down and head into town…let me know your plans once you know though. Maybe taste of dublin is a better bet?sx

  9. Martin says:

Don’t forget it is Bloomsday.Have some Lamb’s Kidneys for old Leopold.

  10. Gillian says:

Sounds like a lovely day out, count me in please please. I will probably come armed with chocolate in some shape or form 🙂

  11. Alan says:

Hi Caroline. Unfortunately I will be working and will be unable to make it. Have a great day. I will be virtually there! Never really thought of myself as a food blogger, more of a baker with a blog. I guess most of us are like that. All the best Alan

  12. Caroline says:

@Alfie surely a little bit of temptation couldn’t do too much harm?!@Imen hope you have a great time in the US, doing lots of shopping for props and getting your hands on a fabulous camera for your next foodie journey. We’ll catch up when you get back.@Maeve thanks for the encouragement – and the inspiration!@Sharon will be in contact and we’ll see what we can manage.@Martin how bad of me! I hadn’t realised that it was Bloomsday. Grilled kidneys for breakfast, in that case.@Gillian looking forward to finally meeting you. Armed and dangerous with chocolate is always a good combination…@Alan I’m a journalist with a blog – who happens to write about food!

  13. Anthony says:

Would love to come but time doesn’t permit. Perhaps next time you can make it a little nearer Cork! I also concur with Alan’s comment, not a food blogger, but a smoker with a blog!Looking forward to reading all about the day!

  14. Caroline says:

@Anthony our original idea was to meet up in Cork – very Anthony-friendly – but Margaret’s invitation was too good to pass up. I’m sure there’ll be other meet ups for food bloggers as well as food producers who also happen to occasionally blog!

  15. Clare says:

Looking forward to this – see you tomorrow! 🙂
