Just discovered your site, Caroline, and really enjoy it. Yummm – someone else who likes baking and cookbooks.Particularly happy to see this review, I’ve a copy of ‘Baker’ and though I probably only make 4 recipes from it, I was really impressed by it. Will look out for the other two books now. Thank-you!

There were some lovely recipes in Baker and I did enjoy the information on the various bakers in New Zealand and Australia but I must say that Taste is my favourite of his books.

Just been looking at your No Eggs or Nuts blog and you certainly have your work cut out for you in baking without those ingredients! I like the look of your gingerbread men, though. It must make you much more imaginative when you have to try baking within such constraints.
