Dingle Food Festival


Food writer, broadcaster and author Caroline Hennessy has been focused on food and writing since editing Ireland’s first food website for RTÉ in 2000. Chair of the Irish Food Writers’ Guild, she established the award-winning Bibliocook: All About Food in 2005, is the author of two books about beer and food and has a column in the Irish Examiner in which she writes about small food producers and the ways in which they develop and maintain a sustainable local food system.

    So glad you are back! I got a little anxious when you were absent for a bit, having just recently got to enjoy your blogs. Tony and I went to investigate Kenmare after reading your recent report and loved it! Look forward to seeing you in Urru soon.

    Last week was so busy that I didn’t get much written on the blog – too much time away from home and the computer. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Kenmare – you’ll have to tell me all about it next time you’re in and I’m not tied up behind the counter!
