What an excellent idea! Thanks for the link. MyKidsTime is packed with stuff to do and now that the summer holliers are here I will be dipping into the site on a regular basis.PS Love the review of ‘The Book of Sweet Things’ … am making my way slowly thru the ice cream recipes having treated myself to a LIDL icecream maker 🙂

I was so good, turned my head and walked past an ice cream maker in Aldi last week. I’d love one but I just can’t justify another kitchen gadget, especially as the cottage kitchen is so very small! That book would tempt me, though, as did the redcurrants I got yesterday from the Daily Spud. I really wanted to try making redcurrant sorbet. Maybe next year for an ice cream machine!
