Glad you liked the GTC. They do great things there. Their poppyseed ciabatta bread is one of the best loafs I have ever tried and they are famous for their mince pies at Christmas. Sorry LM wasn’t up to partying. Next time give me a shout when you are in Galway and we can have tea or lunch or a play date ;0)

Had a lovely brief visit there – as I said, the Husband and Aussie managed to work their way through the entire menu over the weekend and seemed very satisfied with proceedings! LM definitely wasn’t up to much at the weekend, though. Next time hopefully the form will be better and we can try to meet up.

I love the look of those pink meringues – my little girl would go crazy for them. Hmm, I do have a bottle of food colouring left over from her birthday cake last year, might have a go at making them myself…

Don’t they look fab? I think they might get their pink streaks from pureed raspberry, there seemed to be some seeds in there too.

Well survived and good luck with the hubby’s ale
