Blas na hÉireann 2024
The winners have been announced, the finalists celebrated, the products showcased, talked about and tasted. It’s all over now – until next year. Blas na hÉireann 2024 in Dingle was an intense few days of food and friends and discovering new things and learning and trying as much as possible. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
If you’re looking to know who won what, you’ll find that in the Blas winners’ guide online here: Blas 2024 Winners
This year, I was working on the Blas Backyard stage for two sessions, both of which are now online:
Green Business: Sustainability in Action
Caroline Hennessy with Bill Sheppard of Tom Crean Brewery, Kenmare, Lucy Ryan of Bank of Ireland, Derek Reilly of Nevo and Bord Bia’s Fiona Twomey.
PR Toolkit: Mastering Media Relations

I also had the opportunity to host the first panel on the new Meet the Maker space in the Blas Village, where we did a talk and a tasting with with three great producers from the Boyne Valley.
