Food writer, broadcaster and author Caroline Hennessy has been focused on food and writing since editing Ireland’s first food website for RTÉ in 2000. Chair of the Irish Food Writers’ Guild, she established the award-winning Bibliocook: All About Food in 2005, is the author of two books about beer and food and has a column in the Irish Examiner in which she writes about small food producers and the ways in which they develop and maintain a sustainable local food system.

    Hey there, thanks for the mention.I was talking to Neva last night and it reminded of something I meant to tell you a while ago. Over the last few weeks I’ve had tremendous cravings for brownies, so remembering that you make some very fine specimens, I was delighted to find your recipe here and have baked a couple of batches.They are FANTASTIC – thank you! They’re totally hitting my craving spot. 🙂

    Glad to hear it Sinéad – those brownies have gotten me through many a dining situation in the past, although never (as far as I know!) been the subject of cravings! Easy to make and good to eat. They’re always the best recipes.Kieran – good luck to yourself too. Are you going to make it to Dublin for the award ceremony?
